Labor Day has come and gone. I’ve spent my last days at the beach.

Farmer Cheese has begun a fall garden. Heaven help us, let’s hope it does better than the spring one did!

At any rate, all this is a sign of the approaching fall. So why is it still so dang hot? Weather, could you help us out here?
I’m ready to put out some pumpkins, and decorate with the beautiful glass gem corn we grew.

October, November hurry up and get here and let’s enjoy the cool weather for a long time.
South Georgia is just not a good place to live if you want to celebrate fall. But it’s where my heart is so I’ll head toward the mountains soon and enjoy some fall and then come on back to my hot ole south and keep hoping for a cool down!
